This intake is the result of extensive research and testing to improve the flow path of the original system. Eventuri's system is a complete redesign of the original air box, with the goal of reducing drag on the compressor and keeping inlet temperatures low. By using the patented Venturi housing, the airflow path is now much more direct and laminar compared to the cube-shaped OEM air box.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e Eventuri's custom EPDM hose is also much smoother inside compared to the original hose, which has large ridges along the curved part that create turbulence. Eventuri's version allows movement where necessary, but then has a smooth curved section all the way to the throttle.
